Learn to Knit!

In this beginner class, you’ll learn how to cast on, do the knit stitch, cast off and weave in ends. This is the building block of any knitting practice and will give you access to start knitting scarves, shawls, hats, gloves, etc. You’ll receive a skein of Freia’s worsted weight yarn and corresponding knitting needles to make your first cowl. A perfect yarn for beginners.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner.

LENGTH: 4 hours over two meetings.

MATERIALS PROVIDED:
1 skein of Ombré Semi-solid Worsted (you’ll choose your color in class! $20 value), 
1 US 10 circular needle (16″ or 20″) $10 value
4 hours of instruction plus “office hours” support from seasoned knitter Ashley Weeks Cart
